Julian D. Mohr
Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Julian was musically active from a very young age. An accomplished pianist and chamber music partner, he has won several prizes at the national youth music competition Jugged musiziert. A short academic detour took him to study Pharmaceutical Sciences and Medicine, before finishing a music degree in Choral Conducting from the Munich University of Theatre and Performing Arts, conducting the Munich Symphonic Orchestra.
Having led many choirs in Munich, Julian encountered LIC after moving to London. Sharing the conducting baton with Paul Devlin at first, he eventually became LIC’s sole MD September 2018. His background and rich experience in choir conducting, together with his unique style and demand for perfection continues to move LIC to new levels.
